Atlanta, GA (September 5, 2021) – At 9:45 p.m. on the night of Friday, September 3, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Peachtree Street and Pine Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Northside Drive as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
