Atlanta, GA (May 6, 2023) – A serious injury accident happened at an intersection in Atlanta on the night of Friday, May 5, that led to injuries in multiple individuals.
According to Union City Police, the accident happened around 8:51 p.m. at the intersection of South Fulton Parkway and Hunter Mason Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a collision at the intersection due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two women and two children inside the vehicles were injured. One of those victims was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic as police worked to clear the scene.
One of the drivers could face charges for their role in the accident. Police have not verified what charges these may be.
