Cartersville, GA – Car Crash with Injuries on I-75 Near Cassville-White Rd

Cartersville, GA (October 3, 2021) – At 7:54 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, October 3, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Cartersville.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Cassville-White Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the collision were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the curve for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
