Columbus, GA (March 15, 2023) The Columbus Police Department has apprehended the alleged perpetrator of a hit-and-run incident that occurred on March 9, resulting in the death of a man.
On the early morning of March 9, between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m., authorities responded to a report of a pedestrian fatality. They discovered 34-year-old Robert Carter on Macon Road at I-185, having been hit by a vehicle.
