Dalton, GA – Rollover Crash at Riverbend Rd & Walnut Ave Intersection

Dalton, GA (November 12, 2021) – Around 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, November 12, a rollover crash with injuries occurred in Dalton.

According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Riverbend Road and Walnut Avenue. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. One of the vehicles overturned as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
