Fort Oglethorpe, GA (April 9, 2023) – Around 10:41 p.m. on the night of Saturday, April 8, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Fant Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several local responders, including Fort Oglethorpe paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. EMS crews were seen assisting those with injuries. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time after the accident. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the parties who have been hurt in this collision.
