Gainesville, GA (October 10, 2021) – On Sunday, October 10, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Gainesville.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened on Browns Bridge Road around the area of Memorial Park Drive. A driver was attempting to make a left turn in the area but failed to yield to traffic. The 21-year-old female driver turned right and struck a GMC Yukon. The Yukon went off the side of the road and struck a utility pole. Debris from the crash struck a third vehicle as well.

Five victims in the GMC were taken to the hospital with injuries but their conditions are not known at this time. The driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries but was not hospitalized. She received a citation for failing to yield while turning left.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
