Savannah, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Abercorn St & Deerfield Rd

Savannah, GA (September 5, 2021) – Around 1:30 a.m. on Friday morning, September 3, a car crash with injuries occurred in Savannah.

According to the Savannah Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Abercorn Street and Deerfield Road. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were allegedly injured in the accident, though their conditions are not known at this time.

Due to the severity of the accident, all eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
