Warner Robins, GA (November 5, 2021) – At 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 5, a truck crash involving a bus occurred at an intersection in Warner Robins.
According to Houston County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-247 and Green Street. Police confirmed that a 53-year-old man was driving a log truck in the area when he drove through the intersection, colliding with a bus. The log truck allegedly went through the intersection on a red light.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The 25-year-old male driver of the bus, as well as three bus passengers, were all injured and hospitalized. All four victims have since been listed in stable condition.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
